SUMMARY

Receives and directs callers to appropriate destinations, and provides support to the account, sales managers, and customers by performing the following duties.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


General:

Understands and follows the MGS Visions, Mission Statement, and Goals. Has knowledge of and understands the Competitive Advantage of MGS.


Receptionist Responsibilities:

  • Operates telephone console to receive incoming messages.
  • Directs caller to destination and records name, time of call, nature of business, and person called upon.
  • Types memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents as requested.
  • Colle4cts and distributes nail and messages.
  • Processes faxes and info emails.
  • Performs variety of clerical duties as assigned.


Sales Support Responsibilities:

  • Processes sales order entry to include contract review and assignment of item numbers.
  • Enter and assists with the management of orders.
  • Files completed orders according to divisional method.
  • Performs invoice entry and communication with customer.
  • Creates and mails Certifications of Origin and TIN cards.
  • Works with sales team to ensure items are shipping as required.
  • Completes, maintains, and processes pertinent paperwork and records to invoicing and account inventory.
  • Other duties as assigned.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.


QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and /or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Basic telephone console and computer skills.


LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, employees, and customers.


MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.


COMUTER SKILLS

To perform this job successfully; an individual should have proficiency in the use of Microsoft suite of products.


REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, dept perception, and ability to adjust focus.


Must have the ability to drive a motor vehicle while seated for periods of up to 6 hours on a regular basis. Travel by airplane, including flights lasting up to 6 consecutive hours in duration.
