RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Follow necessary MGS procedures and work instructions.
- Reads paperwork, interprets drawings, or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials and process for fabrication.
- Lies out, positions, aligns, and fits components together.
- Bolts, clamps, and tacks-welds parts to secure in position for welding.
- Modifies parts as needed to complete job.
- Safely operates electric hoists to move product, when necessary.
- Inspects finished product to ensure conformance to engineering or work order specifications and tests or assists in testing operation of completed product. Performs UL inspection procedures on UL certified tanks.
- Assists and provides feedback to Manufacturing Engineering development of EMPs.
- Follows safety guidelines and uses all required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Performs routine maintenance and housekeeping in weld areas as necessary.
- ensures cell is organized, cleaned up at the end of each shift, and tools are stored on the shadow board or in their proper place(s).
Other Non-Essential duties may include:
- Understand how to perform minor programing via use of the pendant controls.
- Understand how to use CREO VIEW.
- Communicate to their supervisor/manager when inventories of production supplies are getting low.
- Document robotics test procedures and results.
- Help train personnel as required.
