RESPONSIBILITIES:

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


  • Follow necessary MGS procedures and work instructions.
  • Reads paperwork, interprets drawings, or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials and process for fabrication.
  • Lies out, positions, aligns, and fits components together.
  • Bolts, clamps, and tacks-welds parts to secure in position for welding.
  • Modifies parts as needed to complete job.
  • Safely operates electric hoists to move product, when necessary.
  • Inspects finished product to ensure conformance to engineering or work order specifications and tests or assists in testing operation of completed product. Performs UL inspection procedures on UL certified tanks.
  • Assists and provides feedback to Manufacturing Engineering development of EMPs.
  • Follows safety guidelines and uses all required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
  • Performs routine maintenance and housekeeping in weld areas as necessary.
  • ensures cell is organized, cleaned up at the end of each shift, and tools are stored on the shadow board or in their proper place(s).



Other Non-Essential duties may include:

  • Understand how to perform minor programing via use of the pendant controls.
  • Understand how to use CREO VIEW.
  • Communicate to their supervisor/manager when inventories of production supplies are getting low.
  • Document robotics test procedures and results.
  • Help train personnel as required.
