Summary: Conducts activities concerned with the quality assurance of manufacturing processes, inspects materials and products, such as sheet stock, trailer parts or components, nd finished trailers for conformance to specifications by performing the following:

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor's degree (B, A) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents in English. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Design Software; Internet software; Inventory software; Manufacturing software; Order processing systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Possess or able to obtain ASQ Quality Associate Certification
Other Skills and Abilities
Ability to use small hand tools and measuring devices, such as tape measures, calipers, squares, weld gages, thread gages, DFT and surface prep gauges, etc.
Ability to read and interpret engineering documents.
Ability to operate FARO Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) or similar devices.
Ability to execute process testing such as blast profile reading, coating thickness testing (Paint, Metalizing, Powder Coat, etc.), wet and dry tape adhesion testing, etc.
