Summary: Plans and conducts activities concerned with the control and execution of DMS Projects.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.


  • Prepares, monitors, and maintains project schedule, interfacing with Project Manager and customer's Scheduler, assuring alignment of expectations and communication of any deviations.
  • Maintains appropriate level communication with the Manufacturing Floor Supervisors ensuring scheduling and other project requirements are met. This includes but is not limited to pre-build, manufacturing cell, and weekly status meetings.
  • Prepares Reports for and attends Product Development team meetings when required.
  • Assists the Project manager by performing the following.
  • Create and Review status reports and modify schedules or plans as required.
  • Assists in fulfilling PM duties in cases of PTO or Illness.
  • Participates in the maintenance of the corrective and preventative action system helping to ensure that CPAs are issued, addressed, closed, and reviewed for effectiveness.
  • Process CCB / ECN (document and design) changes.
  • Review, scan, and file completed job packets including tracking and storage of material certs, certificates of conformance, and FAI's.
  • Assist with writing re-work procedures as needed.
  • Participates in DMS team meetings as needed.
  • Confers with project personnel and manufacturing to resolve problems.
  • Assists with quote compilation and development.
  • Assists with purchasing duties as needed.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION & / OR EXPERIENCE


Associates degree (AAS) and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


LANGUAGE SKILLS


Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents in English. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and / or boards of directors.


MATHEMATICAL SKILLS


Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inferences, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.


REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.


COMPUTER SKILLS


To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge a moderate to proficient ability. Experience with an ERP system preferred.
